Commercial Water Damage – Duluth Office Building

Commercial water damage occurred at this Duluth office building when a pipe joint embedded within the wall failed. The wall was soaked, and there was quite a lot of water on the floor also. The building manager sought a professionals water restoration company to help with his disaster. SERVPRO of the Twin Ports would first perform a damage assessment report upon their arrival. They would develop a restoration plan and present it to the building manager. The first item on the plan would be to locate the source of the water leak. This would be accomplished with the use of high-tech moisture detection devices to track the path of the water. Once the source had been located repair would be facilitated. The water would then be suction up from the floor, and the moisture detection meters would be used again to check the condition of the subflooring. Any water damaged building materials such as drywall would either be removed or dried. Any removed materials would be replaced to finish the project.
